The problem is that tactical athletes transitioning from military to civilian life often encounter disjointed well-being strategies, lacking a cohesive approach to address their physical, mental, and nutritional needs, leading to mental health issues, physical injuries, and societal reintegration challenges.

(Physical, Cognitive, Occupational) This area investigates how long-term physical, cognitive, and occupational strategies support veterans beyond their military careers. It examines structured training, recovery protocols, and holistic wellness approaches that contribute to sustained performance, functional independence, and career longevity in civilian life.

Mindful Resilience: Bridging Military Service and Civilian Well-Being

(Mindfulness, Mental Resilience)

This area explores how mindfulness-based interventions enhance psychological resilience, emotional regulation, and cognitive adaptability for military personnel and veterans. It investigates the role of mindfulness in mitigating stress, improving mental health, and facilitating identity reconstruction during reintegration.

Systems-Based Approaches to Veteran Reintegration and Well-Being

(Programs, Policies, Community-Based Interventions)

This research examines the integration of multimodal interventions—including policy frameworks, support systems, and community-based programs—to optimize veteran reintegration. It investigates how evidence-based programs, institutional support, and interdisciplinary care models contribute to long-term resilience, occupational functionality, and social reintegration post-service.
